Property Guide

Welcome to our home! We are so happy you are here. We put this guide together so you have everything you need to settle in and feel right at home.

Your Stay

Check-In

Check-in is at 4:00 PM. We will text you your access code as soon as everything is ready for you.

Check-Out

Check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you are hoping for a little extra time, just reach out ahead of time and we will do our best to make it work.

Parking

There are two parking spots for you, one in the Unit 5 carport and one in the lot. You will find parking passes waiting for you. Please display them on your dashboard and leave them behind for the next guests when you go.

Getting Around

One of our favorite things about our home is that it is ski on/ski off from the Moose Creek chairlift, so you can click into your skis and hit the slopes right from the house. In winter, a free shuttle also runs between the condos and the base of the Tram every 15 to 30 minutes from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, so you can leave the car parked all day. When you are ready to explore the Town of Jackson, the START Bus runs year round right from the Village.

What You Will Find

We have tried to think of everything you might need:

  • Wood-burning fireplace and sauna

  • Gas grill on the deck

  • Smart TVs and streaming

  • Full kitchen with coffee maker and dishwasher

  • Washer and dryer

  • Outdoor ski locker

  • Linens, towels and washcloths

  • Shampoo, conditioner and body wash

Sundance Swim & Tennis Club

Your stay includes access to the Sundance Swim and Tennis Club, just around the corner and one of our favorite spots. There are pools and hot tubs to enjoy, and a soak after a day on the mountain is hard to beat. Just let the staff know you are staying at Timber Ridge 5. There are changing rooms, towels, a grill and a fridge for drinks, and you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. Glass is not allowed by the pools, but plastic cups are provided. Tennis rackets can be rented for $3 a day, cash only.

  • Memorial Day to mid June: 11 AM to 8 PM

  • Mid June to mid September: 9 AM to 9 PM

  • Mid September to early October: 11 AM to 8 PM

  • After Thanksgiving to early April: 2 PM to 9 PM

In winter, the tennis and pickleball courts, basketball hoop and kiddie pool are closed. You can find more details at sundancetennisswimclub.com.

House Rules

Timber Ridge 5 is our family's home, and we have cared for it with a lot of love. We are so excited to share it with you and truly hope you enjoy every moment here.

We ask that you treat our home the way you would want your own home treated. These few house rules help us keep it beautiful for you and for every guest who comes after you. Thank you so much for helping us take care of it.

Shoes Off, Please

Please slip your shoes off in the mudroom when you come in. It keeps our floors clean and the house cozy for everyone.

Ski Boots Stay in the Mudroom

We love that you are here to enjoy the mountain! We just ask one big favor: please keep ski boots in the mudroom. Ski boots will damage our hardwood floors, and those repairs are extensive and very costly. For your sake and ours, boots stay at the door.

We have put rubber mats in the mudroom to protect the entry floors. Please leave your boots on the mats so the snow can melt there instead of making its way into the house.

Ski & Snowboard Storage

Heading up the mountain? Here is where your gear lives:

  • Skis, poles and snowboards go in the outdoor ski locker rather than inside the house.

  • Helmets are welcome inside, and boots stay on the mudroom mats.

  • Please make sure the locker door is fully closed and latched each time.

Fireplace

There is nothing better than a fire after a day on the mountain, and you are welcome to enjoy our wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is available at the Bodega or Aspens Market. If you have not built a fire before, we kindly ask that you skip it this time to keep everyone safe. If you do light one, please follow these rules:

  • Open the flue before starting a fire. Hold a lit piece of newspaper inside the fireplace: if the smoke rises, the flue is open.

  • Never use combustible fuel, and please do not chop or pound wood on the hearth.

  • Add no more than 2 to 3 logs at a time and keep the screens or doors closed.

  • Do not burn cardboard, gift wrap, large amounts of newspaper or charcoal.

  • Never leave a fire unattended, and please do not light one on your day of departure.

  • Close the flue once the fire is fully out, and leave the ashes for us.

Furniture & Walls

We have worked hard to keep our living spaces looking their best, and we would love your help keeping them that way. Please do not hang decorations or signs on the walls or cove heaters, and please do not stand on the coffee table or other furniture.

Trash, Recycling & Our Wild Neighbors

We share this beautiful valley with black bears and other wildlife, and a few simple habits help keep everyone safe, including our wild neighbors.

  • Our outdoor trash bin is just outside the back door to the left, inside the small shed. Please bag all trash and keep it in the bin until pickup morning.

  • Please never leave food, coolers or trash on the deck, porches or in your car overnight.

  • We would love for you to recycle during your stay using the Teton County community bins.

  • Please bring bear spray on any hike or outdoor adventure.

Before You Go

We hope our home felt like your home away from home. A few quick things before you head out:

  1. Check out by 10:00 AM.

  2. Start the dishwasher if you used any dishes.

  3. Leave used towels on the bathroom floors.

  4. Turn off all the lights.

  5. Lock the smart lock on your way out.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking such good care of our home. We would love to host you again!

Home Guide

A few tips and tricks to help you feel right at home.

Heating & Air Conditioning

You will find thermostats on the living room wall by the kitchen cabinets, in the primary bedroom and in the primary bathroom, which has heated floors. The upstairs bedrooms have labeled cove heat controls and their own AC units.

To use an upstairs AC unit, press POWER on the white Mitsubishi remote, slide the panel down and press MODE until AUTO is selected, then set your temperature with the TEMP arrows. Press FAN to adjust the fan speed. If anything gives you trouble, we are always happy to walk you through it.

Sauna

Our sauna is the perfect way to end a day on the mountain.

  • Press the small black button to turn on the light.

  • Turn the top knob to the right to set the temperature.

  • Turn the bottom knob to the right to set the timer.

  • Please do not put water on the hot rocks.

  • Please make sure the sauna is turned off when you are done.

Stovetop

Our stovetop has a safety feature that takes a moment to get used to. Tap and hold the power button to turn it on. To start a burner, press and hold its center circle, then adjust the heat with the touch dial. If an error code appears, reset circuit breaker 19/21, located downstairs just outside the laundry closet.

TVs & Entertainment

The TVs in the living room, primary bedroom, king bedroom and downstairs media room are Smart TVs, and the upstairs bedroom TVs are set up for streaming. The remote on the coffee table controls the living room TV and streaming apps; press INPUT / HDMI to switch sources.

Grill

Dinner on the deck is one of our favorite summer traditions, and the gas grill is ready for you. Please clean it after each use, close the propane tank and put the cover back on. If you run out of propane, just let us know.
